Sir Charles strives to speak positive life, in spirit and in truth, by being a vessel for Jesus Christ. His goal is to present the Gospel in layman’s terms and to covey the word of the Lord with conviction and authority, utilizing the resources God has provided him with.

Sir Charles now resides in Raleigh, North Carolina with his loving wife Shoni Steans-Freeman. He is a disciple at Wake Chapel Church and serves as the Breakthrough Youth Coordinator for the Youth Empowerment & Enrichment Ministry. He is also a member of a Raleigh based group called “POETIC RYMNES” and a premier Spoken Word artist for the Nationally known organization called “ Poetry In The Light”.

Sir Charles has traveled the Highways and the Byways to spread the truth through Spoken Word. He has featured at Raleigh’s 1st Annual… “Into the Night Celebration of The Arts”, Wake Chapel’s own Singles’ Café and College fest. He has also featured at the Y2K’s 2nd Annual Celebration, Poetry Lane’s Arts Festival, McPoets Café in Raleigh, Poetic Shangri-la, Shairi’s Open Mic (Durham, NC), Skylight Exchange (Chapel Hill), Poetically Speaking (Raleigh), Apache Café (Atlanta), Vibes at Montas Lounge (Durham, NC), The Poetry Lane (Smithfield, NC) and the Poetry In the Light’s Annual Dinner/Celebration (Richmond, Virginia).

Sir Charles future projects include a self-entitled CD called, “Scripted Parables” and book of poetry “Chronicles of a Layman”.
