The
inspirational poetess known as Joyce Brooks Saulter is definitely on a “Mission”.
This powerful woman of God was born in Raleigh, North Carolina. She attends
First Baptist of Middlesex in Middlesex NC and serves on the Praise and
Worship Team while actively being used by God for the Prayer Ministry.
Joyce started writing poetry in 1978 while attending W. G. Enloe High School.
Her passion was composing poems about the “happenings in life”.
She would often share her poems with her peers.

After
giving her life to Christ, Mission’s gift of writing began to
inspire people during the good and bad times in their lives. She now
writes and speaks words of encouragement with conviction, authority
& love while uplifting everyone who needs to be inspired with God's
words of exhortation. Some of her most powerful, inspiring, uplifting
poems are “Who Am I”, “Chosen” and “Sista”.
Mission has been represented as an Inspirational Speaker and Spoken
Word artist in two different countries… Okinawa, Japan and the
United States. She has administered Spoken Word for the Dr. Martin Luther
King Jr. tribute at the Raleigh Memorial Auditorium, Women’s Conferences,
Weddings, Churches and other Inspirational events in the North Carolina
Triangle area.
IN 2006, Raleigh North Carolina … Mission was introduced to the
“Poetry In The Light Organization/Ministry” by Twanda Lyons
“Baraq” and Troy Bunch “Outspoken”. Since then,
she has been an active, faithful, loyal, and loving and spirit filled
member.
When Joyce was asked…what is your purpose/mission? Her response
was, “I accept my calling not for riches or fame but to spread
the word in Jesus name. For this ministry is in God’s plan…to
spread the word through out the land. I will not stop until my work
in done. For it is my MISSION.”
